In spite of living in CT almost my entire life, I went to Elizabeth Park for the first time earlier this year. I was somewhat surprized by what it has to offer and recently returned for their rose garden. Many of the blooms were past, maybe due to the dank, rainy, gloomy, cool weather of the last month or so. There had to be at least a few blooms there, so I set out to find some. What started as an hour or two turned into a half day, and some lessons learned.
