Bass Rock
16th March 2005

Bass Rock

East Lothian

The Bass Rock in black and white. This hides the dirt on the CCD a little.

My cleaning kit has arrived but I will wait until the weekend to pluck up courage to clean the sensor !

If I had to pick a pet rock, I think this would have to be it, Bill. Hope all goes well with the cleaning.

Nice image Bill, hope the cleaning goes well, don't envy you that task.

Even though it's B&W I think this is great. I'd get Stu to try the CCD cleaning by tape in his D70 first though :-)

Excellent shot. I've heard that the low tack Scotch tape does the business! Apparently some people swear by it.

The sonic wave business on the Olympus 3/4 dSLR cams sound like a real good idea!

Fantastic shot that works so well in B&W. good luck with the sensor cleaning.

Great shot - agree with waiting until you've got plenty of time to clean the sensor!
