Whitekirk

East Lothian

Whitekirk is a red church - constructed from red sandstone blocks - but it used to be white, painted with a white limewash. Hence the name.

No comments today - my wife is finishing her novel and it has to be with the publishers this evening, so she has been hogging the computer for the last few days ! Hope to catch up tomorrow !

I love graveyard shots myself and this one is superb especially in b&w. Nice shadowing and detailed stones...V.
