A neighbour has a mature cherry tree that overhangs the road, and it looks beautiful with pink blossom on a sunny day.
Unfortunately, most years, many of the petals get washed off in the rain and form a pink, wet carpet on the road.
I have learnt not to park my car under the tree at this time of year.
