I have had an enjoyable day touring around Transylvania, visiting the city of Braşov which was an unexpected gem.
And on to Bran and its castle, which is said to be the inspiration for Dracula's castle.
Certainly it has a gothic feel to it, but the coachloads of tourists spoilt the visit (and most of my photographs).



And last year was the Hermitage.
