This lady was enjoying the sun, sitting on the harbour wall and painting the coastal view in watercolour.

And last year was not so rural.

I foresee this being another one of your heavy hitters, helped by the fact that my browser was on it after the latest release of Firefox 38 came out meaning that it crashed and reloaded at least a dozen times. I really must visit this North Berwick. I see grey skies under which Arctic winds and rains sweep in, and yet the denizens seem completely self-insulated and can dress in this... quite striking fashion. The obvious visual appeal aside, this is a great shot of a person who is fully focussed. I also like the way her raised shoulder leads up to the corner of the rock wall, helping give her some additional 3 dimensionality. (The wall on the left coming out along with her shoulder and arm.)
