Foreign Object

North Berwick

Walking along the beach can be dangerous, with low flying golf balls. I am not sure how the golfer failed to find this fluorescent yellow one.

And last year it was walk in the opposite direction from town.

I love the low angle you have here, the golf ball adds that extra dimension. V

How? Easy. They hide. The devious little sods hide from you. You give them a nice. cosy pouch in your golf bag to sleep in, in return for which you merely ask that they let you periodically whack them with a lump of iron and send them flying a couple of hundred metres... OK, a hundred metres... OK, 50 metres within a 90 degree angle of arc, and the first chance they get they try to scurry away out of sight so that you can't find them again. It's the ingratitude that's hurtful.
Still, maybe this one knew that it would make an excellent focal point against the rocks spreading out toward the sea.

I was sure it was a tennis ball when first viewed. The rocks are like ice, I am sure they just thought better of a broken leg vs a new golf ball and played on.

Beautiful image with a unique center of interest. Talk about a tough location for your next swing. The contrast between the rocks and water is fantastic. Voted

He probably didn't want to walk out in the tide pools, but yes, it shouldn't have been hard to miss, even from a distance.
