Green (and Blue)

North Berwick

I have mentioned before that I don't play golf, but I do enjoy walking across the courses.
This is the 13th hole on the Glen course, known as the Sea Hole for obvious reasons. The sand bunker here is natural...

And last year I visited Sir Walter Scott.

Such a better backdrop than the courses in Surrey!

That would be a great place to play.

Yeah, I'm with ya. I walk across the courses too, not actually playing. "MY ball? In the ocean? No, not MY ball, I'm not playing, I'm just walking across the golf course. The things I'm carrying on my back? Oh, they're my, um, walking sticks. I like to keep a selection of them with me." They always believe it, suckers.
I think it's more grey than blue (both water and sky), though we could split the difference and call it bluish grey. Or greyish blue. Regardless, they still complement each other very well. And of course the two red highlights are things that John Constable would understand very well.

There is good money in diving for golf balls I'm sure :) The colours are clearly defined.

The flash of bright color is excellent against the threatening sky and dark sea.

A treat to walk on the nice golf grass and get this great view. Can't miss this red flag! V

That water hazard looks natural too.

Two beautiful but very different images. The Sir Walter Scott image has fantastic lighting. TheNorth Berwick golf course is a beautiful location. The red flag really stands out well on the golf course. Voted
