Light Bomb

This little blighter fell out from the light fitting above my desk, this afternoon.
Luckily it landed on the carpet and didn't break.

Lucky escape! Looks like one of those halogen thingys... they save electricity but the lamp life seems really short compared with what they claim so by the time they've spent the energy manufacturing the replacement I'm not convinced! Reckon LED will be the way to go...

Looks like the filament didn't survive the fall.
Nice framing.

Like Bob said, we can't get this type now....good that it bounced the right way.

Can imagine the noise and mess if it had landed on your desk.Like the isolation of the subject, tones and shadow...V

Can imagine the noise and mess if it had!!We have moved mainly from this style of globe to a powers saver type.I do like your presentation..the isolation of the subject, the tones and shadow line...V

Wonderfully captured. Your lightbulbs are slightly different from out older ones and completely different from the newer ones.

Reminds me of the Trueman movie. Are you sure there is no conspiracy here. :)
