Wheat Fields and the Law

East Lothian

I took this picture today when out for a bike ride. It is still overcast most of the time, and cold for this time of year.
The hill on the horizon is North Berwick Law, with wheat fields in the foreground. If we get a few dry days and some sun, the wheat might ripen!

I can practically feeeel the wind sweeping through the field. I have never thought of Britain as a place for large scale grain production. One learns something new every day.
