Thank you for your visit and comments, Algis, I have started playing a little with textures.
It’s difficult to do anything slightly different with photos of flowers, but I thought of possibly something a little “vintage” like a grandmother’s album.
The technique is not complicated, you need a good stock of textures, you can find some free on Internet, or you can take your own photos of natural textures and then to enhance them with a retouching program, to add lights, colours, shadows and so on.
Then you work on layers and on blending modes, it depends on the photos and the texture you choose to work with, they must be suitable for each other, then you might try different blending modes, I usually prefer “multiply” “overlay” or “soft light”, but you might try others as well.
For this specific picture I started from a photo of tulips, I deleted their original background, then I chose a rather light and relatively soft textures, I applied it as layer and then I blended the two layer in overlay mode, at least I think so.
I don’t follow any specific fixed procedures, I take inspiration from the images while I’m creating it, but in short this is a little the technique I use.

Nice light effect and waves movement.

Don't the waves look interesting with the long exposure? I can smell the crisp salt air from here. V

Very nice capture. Love that you gave the shutter a 2sec exposure. This gives the water movement!
