Growing up in the state of Georgia, the only crocodilians I saw there were alligators, mainly in the Okefenokee. Fascinating, dark, mysterious and potentially dangerous, the alligator and crocodile clan of dragons survived when a giant meteor put an end to their Cretaceous contemporary dragons, the dinosaurs. Patient enough to survive hard times while the dinos were not. Around the world, I photograph them as my travels lead me to their lairs.
