Louie the fly

This fly is shown in macro. I initially photographed it with the Canon Kit lens (18-55mm) and an EF25 extension tube set. These images achieved the 1:1 macro by adjusting focus to close and then focusing on the object as close as possible to the UV filter with the zoom of the lens.

The later set was photographed with a Zuiko Olympus 50mm F1.8 lens on 68mm of extension tube followed by the EF25 extension tube. Magnification about 2X

The fly is 8mm head to tail and 8mm across the wing span. You can just see the pattered micro lens (mosaic) in the flys eyes in the correct light.
