My comments to Greg...The shutter only exposes the digital sensor on an SLR to the Sun when you take the picture. 1/1500 sec is too short for damage. However on a previewing camera the sensor is constantly exposed to the sun. Keep it moving or it may get burnt. Also sun is safer at sunset with all the Air it passes through.
