We went to Svalbard on Noorderlicht last summer, and we are booked for the Lofotens this October -done the midnight sun and now want the northern lights! Your photos are great, and now we're REALLY excited!

I was there too, and I find it cold. But if you see all the orcas, sea-eagles, and all the other nature, then it's just worth it all!!!! It was just very good, and I learned a lot in that week about the fauna and flora in the area. I really loved it1 :-)

I and my husband were in Norway as well. It does look cold, but out there nobody felt any cold at all. It makes one feel so much colder when tragic news from all over the world keep bumping your ears. In Norway, there was only nature and us. And this is what I personally appreciate the most. All photos are simply marvellous and so much true! Thanks, Bard!

You have a point! Actually Fiona and I were up camping in the Lofotens a few summers back, and I can attest to their beauty in the midnight sun.

tell me why on earth do "normal" people take a trip like this-
to northern Norway this time of the year?????????
