Hi Bard,
Remember me! It's Kayleigh. Stephen sent me your link to view all of your pictures. I must say that they are all fantastic and think you should change profession and become a photographer. Anyway see you soon!

Thanks for your suggestion to go for glass instead of the D2X. Further the lens will probably maintain its value, whereas the D2X will come down in price in time.

tks

Hello Mr. Green,

Being impressed by your mountain shot from your motocycle tour posted on dpreview forum, I found my wayto yout galleries: Very impressive work!!! Just a pleasure to view such quality photos.

I don't know how you obtain such "clarity" in your pictures and beautiful colors and detail.

Thanks for the view.

Best regards
Valbo

Bard,
Thanks so much for your feedback and fast response!I realy like to know more about your post processing technique like, what software do you use to convert your RAW files and what setting for your Nikon D2h.Looking at your photographs seems that everything is right, tone, colors, white ballance,sharpening,...again,wonderful work.
If you have the time please drop me a line at razvan_toma@yahoo.com

Mostly I shoot in RAW format and sharpen (typically "Medium") in Nikon View. If I resize for the web then I typically do an unsharp mask or (more often) Image, Sharpen in Paint Shop Pro. If you want more detail (e.g. radius values) then let me know and I'll post details.

Thanks for the feedback.

Bard. I've been enjoying your galleries here...especially the Viet Nam photos. I may have a chance to travel there so am very interested in your compositions. Hey, I have a question for you.... about the d2h. I'm considering this camera given that the d2x will be totally out of my price range. I shoot a variety of photography....landscape, people, travel. My question is...have you printed larger format prints from the d2h and how limiting do you feel that the 4.1 mpixel is in this regard? I know that I would love all of the features on the camera (current I have a f100) but I also know sometimes I'd like to make high quality larger prints. If you have a chance could you reply in my guestbook? Thanks. Daniel.
