Christmas with my family in Mooloolaba - sunshine, surf, beach walks, family meals at home and out. Exploring more of the coast - Maroochy River and the north shore, Point Cartwright, Coolum, Cotton Tree and the hinterland of the Blackall Range. Christmas Eve saw wild weather with dangerous beaches closed to swimmers. Spectacular scenes watched by crowds and some brave surfers. Christmas Day shone brightly with calmer seas, families enjoying activities, strollers, joggers, surfers and safe patrolled beaches.
