Travelling from London to Paris on the Eurostar,leaving from the superb St Pancras Station in London and arriving at the far less salubrious Gare du Nord in Paris, where our booked self-contained apartment awaited. We found this an incovenient and rather confronting area and arranged a move to a hotel in a far preferable location, just off the Rue de Rivoli in central Paris.

Spring sunshine, brilliant sights and experiences and all the must do items on any Paris agenda. We also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the streets behind the main tourist strips and feeling a part of local Parisian life.
