Travels with Mum, 1991

In 1991, a year after my father's death, my mother took me on my first trip to Europe.
We flew to London and spent four weeks driving throughout England, Scotland and Wales, following my mother's itinerary, carefully planned to show me all her favourite places.
Arriving back in London, we flew to Paris for a three day side trip. There we delighted in the famous sights and enjoyed excursions to Versailles and Fontainebleau, returning to England to complete our trip with a week in London, staying in a hotel near Hyde Park.

What a delightful trip you and your Mum must have had. I would love to do that with my daughters someday!

Love the pics of a holiday in Europe with your mum!! And she'd been before! My mum onl;y ever got to go interstate. Lucky you and lucky Mum to be able to travel with you.
