The La Guardia Community Garden is located at Bleeker Street and La Guardia Place in downtown Manhattan. This series of paintings represent the beginning of my long term committment to express the color, variety and nuances of this plot of land. Like Monet who painted water lilies and many garden scenes, I am in love with this garden. I paint it in an abstract manner and hope that my lyricism translates into the joy that I feel.
