It was about 6 pm local time as we came in on our final approach, and the sun which was very low in the sky lit up these tributaries which seemed to glow with an iridescent blue colour. (I haven’t increased saturation on this shot at all – this was straight out of the camera with only the only PP being a levels adjustment and sharpening).
