My room at the Lagoon View Lodge. There was an air-conditioner, but it didn’t work, no fan, and the insect screening was torn, so the room was very hot and swarming with mosquitoes at night. I couldn’t buy any mosquito repellent anywhere on Tarawa, so travelers should remember to bring their own.
