The colors might vary among the different herds and in one area near here many of the horses are white or grey. The White Mountain horses tend to be bays, sorrels and roans. If you travel north a few miles you see more color in the horses with blacks, whites, paints, palominos, buckskins, etc. I think the Roman nose is related to the Spanish origin of some of these horses, but don't quote me. I do suspect there is a strong Spanish heritage to these horses.
