Message from Doug Burgess Thanks for visiting our galleries. Most of the images on this site are scans of photos from various family sources collected over the past decade. They are a supplement to my wife Susan's genealogy research of our families (Burgess/Ebert Kimes/Hofer). Scanning equipment used: A HP 4C flatbed and a Minolta Scan Speed for 35mm slides/negatives, both of which were replaced by my current Canon 8400F flatbed scanner. Cheers, Doug Burgess Current photo Equipment: Olympus E-620, Olympus 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0, Olympus 50mm f/2.0, Olympus 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6, FL-50 flash, Panasonic FZ-150 and a Canon 8400F flatbed scanner 2007: Purchased a Olympus E-510 DSLR 2-lens Kit plus FL-50 flash. GREAT CAMERA. 2006: Retired the HP and Minolta scanners. Now using a Canon 8400F and in August, purchased a Canon S3 IS camera. 2009: Purchase an Olympus 50mm f/2.0 prime lens. GREAT LENS. 2010: Upgraded to Olympus E-620
