Bomb Craters from the air

Laos

During the Vietnam War and without ever having had war declared on it, eastern Laos became the most heavily bombed target in the history of warfare. Some of these craters are 20-30 feet across and 6-8 feet deep. Unexploded ordinance is still being found - too often by children - explaining why so many of the people in this region have lost limbs.
