2007 was a great fishing year. The trophy Striped Bass showed up a little later than normal, but they stayed longer, which was great. Bluefin Tuna spent their summer about 35 miles off Atlantic City which was also great. Fluke were stacked up in the inlet through July, but the regulations on keeper size kept the take home catch down, but the catch and release fishing was great. We had a good run of Bonito on the near shore grounds. The one disappointment was that there were few dolphinfish to be caught, and that the blue fish were small, but very plentiful. If you would like to get in on some of the great spring trophy striped bass fishing in 2008, or some summer trips out of Atlantic City, now is the time to book.
