Troitsky Sobor, Troitskiy Cathedral, Troitskiy Izmaylovskiy Cathedral, Trinity Cathedral. Many names for the same church. I cropped it like this to show the domes and especially the central dome that was destroyed in a fire in august 2006. Renovations were almost ready when, during a service, fire broke out at the the main dome was destroyed. The fire originated from the scaffolding outside the dome.
In its full glory it must be quite a sight and it lies there perfectly to catch the morning light. This is a big cathedral btw.
