Stephen- Most of the wildlife shots are from Watson and Willow Lakes. There are a few from the surrounding area lakes like Lynx and Goldwater, and a few from Thumb Butte and Granite Mountain. If you are a birder then this is a good time to check out Watson woods/lake area and Willow.

Wonderful images! Where do you find the wildlife in Prescott?

thanks for taking the time to comment about my bird gallery. And as you noted, IT IS ALWAYS WINDY along the coast of New Jersey. If you ever get the chance to bird out this way, drop me a line, I'll be happy to show you around. photodocsj

I have just browsed through your excellent galleries, you have some superb images.

I can honestly say that it is evident how much you enjoyed taking these picture. In these types of nature photography, all you can do for composition is predict and observe behavior. Each picture displayed has impact and vivid action.
Nicely done.

Thank you for your compliments, I'm glad you enjoy them! pbase allows you to password protect a gallery if you wish. That particular gallery has some pix of children that I wanted the parents only to be able to see :)

I can't believe those pictures of the spiders, especially "wrap it up2"! You pics are amazing and totally feed my phobia. :}
Richard Gregory16-Mar-2005 04:45
Yes! Thank you, I had fixed that on my hard drive and forgotten to fix it here. Good eye. In fact, if you can help with some of the buteos, I would appreciate it :)

Just wanted to point out that a picture labeled "Kestrel" is actually a Merlin.

Just came across your galleries and wanted to say I like them very much.
Especially the macro of the wasp and the spiders. I just love spiders, well, looking at them, not picking them up.
Thanks for the view.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your comments on my Heron Gallery. The heron in question is a tri-colored heron. They're pretty cool, but don't see them too often.

I like your bird shots and Frazier. If you get a chance, check out my Odds and Ends Gallery and you'll find a Pensive Everest to go along with your Pensive Frazier. Everest, and his brother Edmund, are Blue Point Himalayans.

Thanks again and good shots!
Karl
