Tetrapylons at Aanjar

About 60 km from Beirut, Aanjar stands in the shadows of the Anti Lebanon range and is unique in that this entire town only flourished in one period, the Ommayad. The tetrapylon marks the intersection of the streets in these ancient ruins (8th century AD - relatively speaking, Aanjar is new compared to Byblos and Tyre in Lebanon)
