Ahhhhhh yes it looks like it was a cold but crisp, clear day! Well captured. I think you picked a perfect day to grab the brilliance of the orange. The contrast against the blue is very nice.

Somehow your gallery makes beauty out of what I personally found to be dull and boring in the real world. (I did not care for The Gates at all.)

This is fantastic! So many of us took photos of the gates, and what is so wonderful is that each photo has something different in them, something special, something unique that talked about our experience. These gates were really a wonderful gift to the city and am so glad you shared your visit with us! Thanks -- GREAT gallery!

Great perspectives - you were lucky to see them in the snow. I was there but only gray skies and drab - definitely brightened up the park though!

I've seen quite a few photographs of the Gates... but these have very unusual perspectives.. beautiful coloring and great light.
