This is a most interesting place. Traquair House, in Innerleithen Scotland, Scotland's oldest inhabited house, dating back to 1107 (now thats old!) Visited by 27 Kings.
It was originally a hunting lodge for the kings and queens of Scotland. Later a refuge for Catholic priests in times of terror the Stuarts of Traquair supported Mary Queen of Scots and the Jacobite cause without counting the cost.
No restoration has been done on the house, so is really amazing to see how it was from way back then.
