Capitan – Smoky Bear Park, New Mexico

On my previous road trips, I came across an article that Smoky Bear was rescued from a fire in Capitan National Forest and the town of Capitan built a Smoky Bear park and museum as a tourist attraction. I am old enough to remember the Smoky Bear advertisements and I thought that it would be an interesting place to visit and rekindle some childhood memories.
