I looked on the internet for fall foliage. It said that Shenandoah was at peak. They forgot to tell me that they had had some windstorms and the leaves were gone. So I took some photos anyway.

Shenandoah: some say it means "daughter of the stars"; others say it means "river of high mountains." Almost everyone agrees that its true meaning lies in the particular beauty wrought when rocks, trees, and water come together in a place where people can meet nature and return enriched and at peace.
