Big Earth Works

By Sunday 08-02-2004 the absorption trenches had been completed and inspected. The process of covering the top soil overburden with burgan branches for erosion protection was under way. The tramway had been pulled up, and a new zig-zag path had been installed at the bridge end of the house to provide machine access from the front porch to the back porch level. A 12 tonne excavator and a "tracked Bob Cat" spent Wednesday 03-03-04 and Thursday 04-03-04 excavating for and installing the septic tank, and excavating for the sand filter.

This gallery shows the work from that point to the completion of the Waste Water System.

Richard.
