Guilderton? All I knew is that my wife wanted myself to take her there for some meeting or seminar. I grabbed my camera bag to take with me just in case.

Very glad I did. Combine a serene and tranquil river, a long and clean white sand beach and a small tranquil town and you have Guilderton. An amazing secret that many holiday makers having been keeping to themselves I'll bet. You could bask for days on that beach, boat up and down that river spying all sorts of wildlife, or cast a fishing line into the river and hope to catch dinner.
Our one day trip was magical, the only mishap was nearly getting bogged near the light house. (Tip, dont take a front wheel drive city car!)

Oh yeah, take your fishing gear as well!
