Too cold to play outside so I played inside trying to "age" a picture. Kinda worked.....

You have the timeless look just right. I'd think about darkening the top left corner a little more. I can imagine this with the red/green cast of a faded transparency too.

It worked well. Try adding some film grain and see if that tweaks it right.
