For 10 years now, my goal in pursuing astroimaging is to not only capture a "moment" but a moment that connects the earthly landscapes with the nightsky while telling a story or relating a message. I call it the "earth and sky connection." Sometimes these celestial moments are rare and historical or often unplanned and unexpected. Either way, these images humble us, are peaceful and serene to our minds and body and hopefully allow us to appreciate just how unique and fortunate we are to live on our Mother Earth or as Carl Sagan said, "Pale Blue Dot." In addition, I am most fortunate to live in a rural "dark-sky site" which is most important in astrophotography. Therefore, I am a member of the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) and along with my membership support, I donate 5% of all my sales to the IDA to help reduce light pollution.
