Sneak shots at a wedding at the Heian Shrine

While touring the Heian Shrine last November my wife and I spotted a wedding retinue preparing for a photoshoot. I could only sneak shoot from afar and from the right side of the wedding entourage. It took ages for the hair and dress stylists to finish their work. I think the groom and the bride noticed that I was probably a foreigner because no Japanese photographer would have waited as patiently as I did to take pictures of the bride from about 100 feet away. In the end the bride rewarded me with a pleasant look as her way of thanking me for my patience. I wished I could have thanked her too for having given me the opportunity to sneak shoot.
