The pictures bring my memory of Holy Kailash. I went to Kailash in 2010 and I could not forget my beautiful journey to the holy land. I felt I was in a different world with lots of peace and holiness surrounded me. Thanks to Lord Shiva who guided our group and gave us beautiful darshan. I pray my soul settles at Holy Kailash.

These beautiful pictures remind me of September,1986 when I visited Sri Kailas & Manassarovar. Although my photographs have faded out yet I remember the places. I wish if I could collect some of these beautiful pictures.

A mesmerizing place. Cars, electricity, bills, phones, jobs, corporations, Western materialism, exploitation, savage competition, money schemes...this is the civilization for and of the fools. At Kailash only you mingle among an uncomplicated people with their lives revolving around a simple religion while enjoying the beauty of isolation. I heard the Chinese are planning to bring "civilization" to Kailash and allowing mountaineers to scale the Holy Mountain for some extra cash in their already full pockets. They want to pave the kora with black asphalt so people can speed up their spiritual experience. But they don't realize that when nothing is sacred anymore and simple faith is exchanged for convinence, this will no longer interest the visitors and Kailash will lose its specialness. The "civilized" man don't have any identiy as they have long ago handed their selves to modern technology and hence they appear in a constant flux, even on a daily basis. The Kailash man is constant year after year, remain faithful to their religion, their festivals, and their eternal landscape. Le Huu Phuoc

while searching for Kailash photograph i cann't find satisifactory photos, this page gives me what i want. This is a vast collection of photos which i go through. I can imagine the pace of path to collect this photos. Raja Linga Prasah
