Pair of Male Horned Larks (Eremophila alpestris): SERIES of Three sequential Images

South of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Combat in a snowy cornfield:
ONE-Incoming!!

TWO-Fights on: The incoming lark (from the previous image) flares as he approaches the lark on the ground.

THREE- The lark on the ground has jumped into the air to meet the incoming lark; and the two are now off the ground and "wrestling" in mid air.
