How friendly was this pheasant, you ask? Look at the focal length! He is standing on the hood of my SUV; and did not want to get off. I started driving away and he was "hanging ten" like a surfer. He wanted to come WITH us. I should have accommodated him...then served him up for a New Year's dinner!
