This was my accommodation for over three weeks. I ate breakfast looking at the pool while reading my kindle and usually ate here in the evening. I shared my New Zealand Facebook photos with them and answered many questions about New Zealand. They shared so much with me - and presented me with the most awesome Indian food - often without me asking! I would often stay for over two hours in the evening reading my book while dining - the movement and occasional chat is far more enjoyable than being stuck in a small room on your own.

After photographing restaurant team, I facebooked the photo with this inscription:
To the hospitality team down stairs that have looked after my dining experiences... They have given me guidance about food and culture and what to see. They have encouraged me to try something different most nights and it has been a privilege to meet and spend time with these people. I have also been able to put on my NZ Ambassadors hat and share my photos of NZ, as well as what this tourist has captured from a tourist / photographers eye in Bengaluru. Traveling on my own, this team have made me feel so welcome, not because they are paid to but because they have wanted to.
When I left Lalit Ashok Bangalore, I had made many new friends and I suspect New Zealand will see some new tourists.
