a great advantage of a rangefinder is the ability to hand hold it at much lower shutter speeds which allows one to use lower ISO
I have found the lens used here extraordinarily fine
Leica's lofty reputation seems well deserved from my limited experience with their lenses
for all M8 photographs the aperture settings are guestimated from my memory as there is no electronic communication between the lens & the camera with the M8
