this is a Cirrhopetalum species, which also goes by the moniker Bulbophyllum makoyanum
it hails from Malaysia, but is easy to grow indoors provided it gets lots of air movement, humidity and dappled morning light, not too strong ...bathrooms are good locations if you don't have a greenhouse
this deceptive orchid is really 11 distinct flowers, mimicking a sunflower or daisy
the further magic of this flower comes from its movement
the petals are loosely hinged and they dance in a breeze
