S.F. Galloping Gardeners

We are vitural garden club in that we all met and meet regularly on line. We discuss plants, our gardens, places to visit and display pictures of our gatherings all on line. We are The South Florida Galloping Gardeners, we get together regularly as a group to visit nurseries, gardening attractions, and each other’s gardens. We are a fun group that share a love for all type of plants, from natives to the most exotic.

Coralbush, Coral Plant, Jatropha multifida This is a mature Coralbush, Jatropha multifida. It is 14 or 15 years old. It's height is about 15 feet and it's just as wide. It produces flowers year round which butterflies enjoy, especially during the winter months where there is little else blooming for butterfly nectar. It creates a mottled shade allowing plenty of light without direct sun. As you can see there are plenty of plants growing well in the shade underneath it.
