For several days I joined up with these kids to float down the Mississippi River on homeade houseboats. They were the "talk" of river, according to a worker on lock and dam number 3. That's 18 people, 5 dogs on 5 houseboats. At one point we got stuck on the Lake in shallow waters and had to push the boats down river in the middle of an oncomming rain storm. These pictures were taken in early August. As far as I know they are still on the River.
