Saurimo is the capital of the Lunda Sul province. It is clean and preaty. We left Malanje on June 19 and returned the following day (Sunday). The trip was 10 hours long, due to the many police checkpoints along the road, especially when entering a new province. It was worthwhile! The trip back was only 8 hours because, at night, there were less police and traffic.
The first picture shows how they are building the new sanctary, around the existing one so that they can keep it for now.
