Gargantas del Sil is a beautiful area in Galicia, northwest of Spain. It's located on the banks of river Sil and the area is really beautiful. The river is sided by high mountains, where they grow wine. The landscape is very similar to our Douro in Portugal. You can see vineyards growing up on the mountais. While driving my car along the very narrow roads, I could see lots of small wine producers, what they call "Adegas". The area is absolutely rural and you feel back in time when you are there. Nice landscapes and nice people. Due to the pasture fields, the meat is really good, as well as the wine. No problem to find where to sleep and to eat. I have benn there only one night but I have to go back for 3 nights to have time to take more pictures and to enjoy their meat and wines. I am posting some pictures taken there but I am sure I will do better when I will go there with time.
