We visited your island a few weeks ago, and took an excursion in a landrover to the penguin site. It was awesome. The ride was very bumpy but wouldn't have missed it for the world. was especially surprised at the delightful "teahouse" on the shoreside, this was a welcome warmer upper, after a cold hike to see the wonderful creatures.
Loved the town also, it is a haven for travelers, especially after Buenos Aires and Rio. A little British paradise stuck in the middle of nowhere.

I have been reading about Antarctic expaditions, whic led me to looking at the Falklands. I live in Southern California, but it looks as though you have a wonderful place, no traffic. I would really like to visit someday.
