We recently spent a weekend at the Tagaytay Highlands. It's an exclusive country club that I'm not a member of, but I get weekends here as a perk from my client. Nice kids friendly place to get away from it all, without having to drive too far (about 2 hours from our home). To our relatives in the States, should you get the chance to visit us here again, we'd gladly take you for a weekend at the Highlands (nice greens for all you golfers).
